How to spot a genuine pack
Counterfeits circulate in this category. A genuine pack tells you who made it, who markets it, and carries a registration number you can check. Here is what to look at before you buy.
Four things to check

The registration number. Both aerosols carry a NAFDAC number printed on the can. TOPRANK Insecticide is A5-1051, and VANISH Multi Insect Killer is A10-100846. A pack with no number, or a number that does not match, is a reason to stop.

Who markets it. A genuine pack names C-Success Multiservices Limited as the marketer and Fujian Benma Daily Chemicals Limited as the manufacturer, with the Aba address. Missing or vague attribution is a warning sign.

The batch and date. Production date and batch code are printed on the base of an aerosol can. It should be legible and stamped into the pack, not stuck on as a label.

Print quality. Look at the eagle on TOPRANK and the horse on VANISH. Counterfeit packs typically show soft, blurred or off-colour artwork, and text that does not line up cleanly with the panels.
